Keep it Secret, Keep it Safe!
You must bring at least FIVE non-hand written copies of your army list that are clearly legible and lists out all the details of your characters and units and all of their points costs. Blood In the Sun is a Closed List Tournament and Players must provide a copy of their list to their opponents at the conclusion of each round. Army Builder printouts are preferred.
Army Requirements and Restrictions
- You must use the same army list for each game.
- Players may field an army of up to 2,400 points and not a point more using the requirements and allowances for 2,400 point armies as specified in the Big Red Book.
- Armies do have to be painted to a minimum of 3 colors.
- WYSIWYG. GW models are not required, but an accurate representation must be used. No “proxy” models. Conversions are welcome and smiled upon, but using your buddy’s Treeman model as your Hellpit Abomination is not. Also, Units must have a majority of the models making up a unit armed correctly.
- You must indicate which lore each Wizard will be using for the entire tournament on your army list. Skaven Grey Seers must choose how many of each lore (plague/ruin) they are taking prior to the event.
- Special Characters will not be allowed in Blood in the Sun.
- There will be no alteration to the standard army unit selection rules. Your army composition score will be judged by your opponent at the end of each game.
- We are using 8th edition rules and all current army books released prior to May 1st, 2012. DoW lists will be allowed using the Indy GT Lists. Chaos Dwarf armies will be allowed using the Tamurkhan Rules. Warhammer Forge Rhinox riders will be allowed only in Ogre Kingdoms and DoW armies. All other experimental, trial or optional rules will not be allowed.
