Do you have to pay when you register?
No. We encourage you to sign up with the required information asap. You can then pay at your convenience. Remember however, paying by the deadline is rewarded with a re-roll token for use in your games.
Am I required to stay at the hotel?
It is not required to stay at the hotel if you are participating in Blood In The Sun. It is, however, highly recommended that you do stay at the hotel one or both nights (Friday and Saturday). There will be open gaming and socializing late on both nights and the tourney starts early each morning. The hotel can be quite affordable if you share rooms, so grab a friend or two and stay the weekend.
Is there an age limit for BITS?
You must be 16+ to register for BITS. Exceptions will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
Will there be food and drink on premises?
There is a restaurant and bar on premises. Food and drink are allowed into the tournament room from the restaurant. You are not required to eat at the Hotel, but it is recommended due to its close proximity to the tournament.
BITS has 60 slots for players. Is that the maximum limit?
We have one ballroom reserved for the event which will comfortably accommodate 60 people plus tables. We will be keeping a waiting list of players, and if we get 10+ players interested above the available 60 paid spots, we will then look into additional space. We recommend registering and paying earlier to ensure a spot.
Considering mages must choose their lore going into the tournament, how does this work with Grey Seers?
Grey Seers must pick the quantity of spells chosen from each lore. This must be noted in pre-submitted army lists (ie 2 Plague, 2 Ruin spells)
Are Dogs of War armies allowed?
DoW lists will be allowed using the Indy GT Lists. Rhinox riders will be allowed only in DoW armies. All other experimental, trial or optional rules will not be allowed.
Do scouts factor into who gets the +1 for first turn?
Yes. Scouts count as a deployment in this regard.
What size base should a Mangler Squig be on?
40mm, 50mm and 60mm circle or 40x40mm, 50x50mm square bases are acceptable since GW has not released the official model or accompanying base.
Can cannonballs bounce through buildings, inflicting damage to units inside them?
Yes.
